Make Gingerbread cookies

 


Ingredients

  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 3tbsp honey
  • 370g all-purpose flour
  • 1tbsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 90g browun suger
  • 1 egg
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix together the brown sugar, butter, and honey
  2. Add the egg
  3. Stir in the dry ingredients cloves, flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  4. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes
  5. Preheat oven at 180°C
  6. Roll out the dough and cut the gingerbread cookies using cookie cutter
  7. Transfer gingerbread cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  8. Bake at 180°C for 9 min
  9. Let the gingerbread cookies sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
